True Religion Learner: I am beginning to think that our religion is only an organized way to share beliefs with others, that it gives us a common language. Is this true? Spirit: There is but one Father Sky, Learners. These trees here, the tallest trees on your Earth, claim that they can touch it, and so it is theirs. If you are to know Father Sky, you must come here and view it through their branches. But Grandfather Sun and Grandmother Moon are upset now. They are much closer to Father Sky. They give him Light every day and every night. The only way you can really know Father Sky is to look upon him through the eyes of Grandfather Sun and Grandmother Moon. Sister Wind smiles and whispers that no one can know Father Sky like she does, for she dances with him and holds him close in her embrace. Mother Ocean carries the color of Father Sky and asks if that is not proof enough of his approval. Can you not see that you must listen carefully to what she teaches if you are to understand Father Sky? Brother Eagle laughs because he soars within the heart of Father Sky. Who can know the father like the one who knows his heart? Which speaker is not speaking straight, Learners? Do these trees not reach high and touch the face of Father Sky? Are the claims of all the others not also true? Shall Mother Ocean now begin to hate Brother Eagle every time he soars above her? Shall Grandfather Sun try hard to burn his eyes out as he flies? There is only one Father Sky. How can he belong to everyone? Yet you say no one is lying when they state their relationship to him. How can he belong to everyone? Can he possibly exist for everyone? Does he love everyone enough to give them all free access to him? Can it be true that all they have to do to know him is to be who they are created to be and know him in the way that they were created to know him, without concerning themselves about how others know him?
