This site was created in the hopes of spreading the awareness and knowledge taught to us from our Spiritual Teachers and the messages we carry with us through this life and into the next. The site is an ongoing reference point for all interested learners.

The Spirit Guides' lessons shared here were taught during more than twenty years of friendship with and communication through Patricia Walton, a highly respected spiritual medium and channel.

Though several spirit master teacher guides were channeled, for the sake of simplicity we will call them "Spirit"

What If a Guide Demands You Follow Him?

Learner: What should we do if a Guide or a dead relative visits us in a dream or in meditation and insists that we do something we don’t want to do, implying that if we do not follow the Guide’s instructions, we will be making a huge mistake in life or really disappointing God?

Spirit: Whenever any soul, whether Guide or not, whether relative or not, whether in flesh and bone body or not, insists that you act a certain way, in other words, when it is another soul and not your own inner guidance directing your actions, my frank advice is to deafen your ears, blind your eyes, and turn away from further communion with that soul.

Divine guidance will ALWAYS come to you from INSIDE, not outside your Self. That is where you will find your God, my children. You do not have to search all over your world to find an external being. You merely have to silence yourself, still yourself, and turn inward, for that is where He, or She if you prefer, will be waiting to love you and guide you. Let me say this again, emphatically: Your genuine guidance will never come from others, in body or out of body, insisting you must follow their instructions.

We Teachers will answer your questions and will offer you things to think about. We will never tell you that if you do not accept what we say, you are doomed. We will never tell you that you must love us and honor us or else God will not love you. That is not only wrong; it is a password for our own removal as Guides from the Light.

You are beings who have the divine right of Free Will. This is a gift to you from your God. This is an innate gift that cannot be taken from you, ever. You always have Free Will. You are adults and expected, therefore, to be responsible for your own decisions and the results they bring about. That is the whole point of being in your classroom on Earth. So whenever a purported Guide or leader or teacher, whether here or there, whether in dreams or in your automobile or in your church or mosque or synagogue, or in your thoughts, or in your family, tries to deny your right to decide and direct your own walk with Spirit, RUN!
