The Place You Call Hell

Spirit: Life never ends. That means that where and how you live after your death on Earth is determined by the choices you make while on Earth. You cannot just die after a life such as Hitler’s and say, "Ooops, I goofed. Oh well, next life, please." No! It simply does not work that way. You cannot proceed until you fully and meticulously review your most recent life and understand what you did. But I am not talking about going to watch a movie and being uncomfortable for awhile until the movie ends. No! Once you accept the darkness of your actions and the impact they had on others, once you are sincerely remorseful and ready to take responsibility for your choices, you must then deal with everything that those choices caused to happen. I cannot give detailed information about this soul in particular, but you can surely imagine the magnitude of the work that must be done and the pain that must be experienced to ever, ever, begin to grow past that type of life.

Spirit: What many on your plane refer to as Hell is not what we experience here. We do not have a place where someone is sentenced to remain forever because they have committed dark deeds. In many ways, that is far too easy a punishment, my friends. What souls who intentionally turn from the Light and harm others must endure is far more painful because it requires experiencing the agony we have caused other souls. So in that way, yes, we do have a place that is similar in many ways to what you think of when you speak of Hell. It is a place that none of us ever want to have to be, not unless we are Guides working there by choice.

This place, or rather state of being, does not have to result in eternal damnation. That is up to the soul who finds himself alone in the darkness of his thoughts, for it can only be the soul’s decision whether to open to the Light of Truth or to refuse and remain, therefore, in the darkness that you call eternal damnation.

This is where souls must go who cannot sustain the vibrations of Light that exist here on all of the higher levels. It is not a matter of a soul being able to say, "Yes, I can handle the Light now, so I’m not going into that dark place, no matter what." Souls cannot endure this much Light if they have been living and acting in great darkness. Even the Light of the Astral Plane is intolerable to them if they have been living in darkness. To a dark soul, one who has chosen darkness and remains without remorse, the Light brings severe pain, burning and agony. There is no numbness. There is immediate pain.

But it is not that Creator or any other energy form here is shining Light on these souls in order to cause them pain. It is simply a fact of creation. As an example from your physical world, if you choose to walk into the sea and swallow a great deal of water, you will drown. Creator has not forced you into the sea, no one of your Guides has pushed you under the water. It is simply a fact that your lungs cannot breathe in water. They were created to breathe air, and when filled with water instead of air, they stop working and death of the body comes. In a similar way, the soul who walks in darkness cannot live in the Light until he has made changes that allow Light into his soul. This does not happen immediately. It is not ever instantaneous. It is not ever without agony. It can take many of your years.

Some are there only a few of your weeks or months, because there is just one particular area where they need to understand in order to change their way of thinking, thinking that is seriously dark in this one area. But even they have reported feeling hopeless at times. It is not a happy place, my friends. It is a place of anger and fear, of sadness and grief, of hopelessness and despair; a place of great pain, a place designed to lead the soul to re-evaluation of his conscious choices and attitudes.

Some souls have lived and thought and acted in such malicious negativity, such darkness, that they can sustain virtually no Light whatsoever. They are in total darkness. They are in the constant agony of their terrible thoughts and wishes and threats and desires, because now, in this place, those desires cannot be satisfied. They are alone. Their power, if they had any on Earth, is now gone. Their followers are no longer around them doing their bidding. Their victims are no longer available to be terrified by them or harmed by them. They are powerless; impotent.

There are no drugs to ease their pain, no sexual outlets, no other beings to harm or terrify. There is no money to wield as a weapon. They are alone with themselves, and please believe me that this is a terrible terrible place to be when you are living and acting in darkness. This is a place that no one who acts in ways of great darkness ever wants to be. But there is no escape. They are unable to be on any other level here. They cannot abide in any other place until they have changed their hearts.

In the darkest areas are souls such as the one from Earth you know as Hitler. There is also there one who ruled centuries ago with the title of Pope. There is a butcher from Roman times there; he was the leader of another tribe of people, enemy of the Romans. There is a woman there from the land of Babylon, and a man who led a very harsh Chinese dynasty many many centuries ago. I am just telling you a few from Earth’s history. Sadly, there are many more; many who cannot open their minds and hearts to the Light, to Love, to contrition to the intense demands of restitution. These souls remain trapped there within the web of their own dark thoughts and feelings. Most, of course, are not names known in history, but all share an inability to open to the Light, to be helped to begin the process of cleansing their hearts.

You see, nothing can be done until the soul who is in trouble desires help. The law of Free Will is in force on all levels here, just as it is on Earth and in the other physical climates. Free Will is part of all creation and cannot be escaped or avoided. So until the soul is willing to understand and accept that his choices were wrong, nothing can be done. There is another, even sadder aspect, too: Some know very well that what they have done brought horrific pain to others, and yet they cannot be helped because they do not regret their actions. They are not willing to discuss this, not willing to hear the details of the pain they have caused, not willing to face anything about their failure to Love. Until they change their thinking and unlock their hearts, the only place they can exist is in darkness.

I cannot tell you details of any particular soul’s situation beyond what I have already said. I am breaking no rules, however, to tell you that when souls make repeated intentional decisions based in Fear rather than in Love, they are assuring themselves a place in the darkest realms, usually for a very long time.

The reason I say this is because, as you know, when you act in a specific way repeatedly, you create a habit. Habits are ingrained into your mind, and often into your heart and soul. You have "etched" or "dug" deeply into your soul a pathway of negative, dark thought. If you have habitually chosen to harm others, when you finally separate from your body and return Home, you are scarred from these thoughts and actions. You are eroded, just as surely, just as deeply, as the beds where the water courses through rock to create canyons. You have created within your soul deep ravines of disgusting, vile thought and belief that must be cleared out and filled with Light and Love before you can ever move on.

There are workers who volunteer to work with souls such as this. The problem is that often the darkened souls will not receive these Guides, will not hear them, will not allow them into their presence. Even though these pitiful souls are entirely alone, many times they refuse to welcome a Guide. It often takes many many visits before the messages of the Guides will be received and listened to by these souls.

In addition to the Guides who work in this area, other souls are allowed to visit if they have the knowledge and training or the protection necessary. If there is a reason, others can visit these souls if they are properly educated, and protected. For example, soulmates who are spiritually healthy often visit, because their "pull" is powerful, and sometimes they can break through where an unknown Guide cannot. So they will be prepared as to what to expect, and then accompanied by a Guide to visit the unwell soul, if they ask to do so.

Souls in darkness do not suddenly begin to sing "I saw the Light" and come dancing out of the darkness. Never. They are sick souls, very sick, very weak beings, badly injured by their own choices, decisions, thoughts and actions. Those who are rehabilitated finally just stop saying "no" and the Guide or the friend or the soulmate picks them up. I am using physical examples to aid your understanding. In reality, it is a matter of attaching them to one’s energy. There is a way that Master Guides can attach a sick soul to themselves and move them to another spot if the suffering soul agrees to this.

Now, one thing I do want to make clear. Some on Earth are taught that certain things they do are unforgivable, that they are unable to ever be rehabilitated, that they must "burn in Hell forever," as you have said. This is not true. The length of stay within the heavy vibrations of darkness is due to the soul’s own choice. It is not a condemnation put upon them, but rather it is a result of their own choices, both during their life on Earth and then after they return and find themselves captive in darkness. I say captive, but again I remind you that they are not put into chains and dragged to this place of punishment. They are there because that is the only place that they can be, unless they remain on Earth, where they no longer belong and are no longer able to function. Some sense their destiny and are afraid to come Home, but they cannot escape forever. Eventually they must come to the burning, revealing Light and take their rightful place in the darkness until they can understand, change their thoughts, change their hearts, change their attitudes, receive Light and Love, and truly desire healing. This takes a long time for those in the darkest states, a very long time.

Learners, you when you are Home and review the life you are living now on Earth, there will be decisions that you regret making and actions that you wish you had not taken. But making a decision prayerfully, in humility, in sincere seeking for guidance as to which choice will bring about the highest good for all concerned, will never send you to the place of darkness. Remember that Love is All. Meditate and pray. Ask for help from the Godlight, and make your decisions immersed within the most Love and Light that you can achieve. It is when people do not want to Love; do not try to undertand, do not try to make their decisions in Love that soul sickness occurs.

If you know that in an earlier time in the life you are now leading you did act in darkness, with wrong motivation and with a desire to hurt another or yourself in some way, and you now realize it and have done everything you know to atone for this action, if you have changed your ways so that you do not and will not ever again make that same wrong decision or act in that same dark way, then you do not have to fear finding yourself encapsulated in darkness upon your arrival here.

Remember also that we have hospitals on the Astral Plane. We have clinics. We have counselors. We have families and friends and Guides. We have many many ways to help new arrivals here, many ways of Light and Love. If you are able to sustain the Light of the Astral Plane, you will never see the place you call Hell. You may still need to talk to the Grandfathers, the wise ones, the Counselors and Teachers. You may need to go to extra classes and therapy sessions, but do not fear this, because all of these things are planned and orchestrated in Love and never with accusatory, denouncing, denigrating attitudes by those helping you. Everything is done in Love, with a desire to help you understand and heal so that you can grow and move on to the Higher Planes.

So do not fear coming Home because of mistakes in judgment and behavior that you know you have made and regret. Simply learn from them and allow more Light into your lives, into your souls. Shine more of Creator’s Light through yourselves to others on both sides of the veil. That is all you have to do. That is all. Simply love and do not give Fear any time or place to establish its habits within your lives, and you will be fine when you come Home. I have said this, and it is so.

There are many spiritual teachings, many paths to the Light, let us say. You have heard the humorous phrase spoken in your culture, "You can’t get there from here." I want you to realize that this is not something you have ever or will ever hear from your Divine Creator, from your God, and therefore never from your Teacher Guides. Never has the teaching to any group or sect, to any nation, to any world, to any people, been that because of where they are and what they believe, they cannot ever reach and join God. You will never hear that from the mouth, if you will, of your God, only from man purporting to speak on God’s behalf.

Even in the darkest parts of what we, for your understanding, will call Hell, you will not hear that message. If you were there in the darkness, what you would hear is the opposite, as a matter of fact. What you would hear would vary according to your ability to comprehend, but let us say, for this lesson, that it is you as you are now, with your background and personality and understanding. What you would hear from your visitors, the Guide Workers who have chosen this difficult work, is, "There is still hope. Don’t give up. You are alone now. You are in pain now. But it doesn’t have to be this way forever. You are loved. You have forgotten how to love, and you have forgotten how to be loved, but God has not forgotten how to love you." And so on would the dialogue go. Never would you hear, "You erred so greatly that you can no longer get to God from where you are." Never.

Now, let me add here that we are not saying that the soul in this place of darkness can immediately jump into the arms of God. But it is not that God will not allow it. It is because that soul has years or sometimes eons of darkness to shed through a gradual exposure to more and more Light which can come through teachings of Love. That soul has to endure terribly hard, terribly painful work in order to remove the filth of darkness in which he chose to live. It is the soul who has chosen to live in darkness who must be the one who chooses to change. He must want to change. His heart must change. This does not happen in what your culture would call overnight. Sometimes, to some of us, it seems to some of us as if it may never happen for some who continue to turn from God’s Light and Love. I admit this. But these souls are never "written off," as you would say. They are never given up to an evil personage.

These souls were created by God and they belong to God, and to no one else. God has not given up on them, and will not. But neither will He force them. Remember what you know about Free Will. They are able to come to and through the Light and eventually into the presence of the God if they choose, if they are willing to suffer whatever it takes to refute their dark actions and get themselves to the Light. If not, they will stay where they are. That is the eternal damnation you are thinking about. But it is not that they are eternally lost through the doing of God. God knows right where they are and who they are and calls to them constantly, trying to draw them to the Light, to Himself. But they must come voluntarily.

You ask about the location of a being you know as Satan or Lucifer. We do not teach of a single being such as is described in this archetype of darkness. But that does not negate the teaching. You will find a form of teaching about negativity and darkness in all religious scriptures of all who truly seek oneness with God. Activities of darkness which you label evil do certainly exist on Earth. You are not wrong. Yes, on Earth there is power in certain areas of darkness, and that power is fueled by Fear. The sad part of this truth is that some souls of the Light so greatly fear this darkness that they do not take ownership of their own Godlight, of the power that is within them to trounce, extinguish once and for all, the evil acts of men who choose to harm and destroy.

People of goodness, people who desire to walk forth in Light continue to blame the other, the bad one, the devil, if you will, for the evil, and then to run from it. What you humans living upon the Earth are doing is giving up your God-given power. In a way, it is insulting your God. Now, it is I who say this, not your God, child. I do not say that your God is angry or perturbed about this, but I admit that sometimes your Teacher is, yes.

There are, indeed, dark beings of spirit in action sometimes upon your planet. There are those whose bodies have died and who have refused to leave the physical plane. They are not forced to leave that plane. Eventually, when that place no longer is home to human souls, they will find themselves being visited by workers just as if they were located in a dark area here. But at this time, there remain many more years of Light available to your planet, and during this time, these souls who continue to choose darkness after their bodies die can certainly remain there to move about and seek to share their dark thoughts and inclinations with those open to receive them.

What is so often missing on Earth is heavy emphasis on the power of those who follow the Light. There is often much greater emphasis on communicating Fear, and what evil is doing, than on teaching people that because the Godspirit infuses their own, they have great Light and great Power, and great responsibility. The real name of darkness is Fear. The real name of Light and of the energy or essence that you call God is Love. There is Fear and there is Love. Souls give Fear power when they do not become fully aware of the Love that their Creator put inside of them, and of the immense power of that Love.
