This site was created in the hopes of spreading the awareness and knowledge taught to us from our Spiritual Teachers and the messages we carry with us through this life and into the next. The site is an ongoing reference point for all interested learners.

The Spirit Guides' lessons shared here were taught during more than twenty years of friendship with and communication through Patricia Walton, a highly respected spiritual medium and channel.

Though several spirit master teacher guides were channeled, for the sake of simplicity we will call them "Spirit"

Are Atheists and Evildoers Really Guided?

Learner: Do people who do not believe in God still have Guides?

Spirit: Yes, they do. Whether or not Learners have Guides is not dependent upon the Learner’s perceptions. Whether or not the Learner consciously communicates with those Guides is definitely the Learner’s choice, and only the Learner’s choice. But the Guide system, as I’ll call it, was set up when it was decided that souls would incarnate on physical planes.

The classrooms on the physical planes can be strident and complicated. The human soul learns some lessons faster in these settings, but there needs to be a place for considering the lesson, and there needs to be a mentor available to assist. Even when the lesson is not being attempted through conscious study, even when the only communication with Home is happening at night while the Learner sleeps, the soul that has incarnated needs assistance and guidance.

So yes, every soul has a Guide or a team of Guides working on that soul’s behalf, regardless of what the soul consciously believes. Even Hitler had Guides, Charlemagne had Guides, the Pharaohs all had Guides, regardless of whether they walked in Light or darkness. I guess it is obvious that these Guides are not able to break through to the consciousness of the soul to which they are assigned, but that does not mean that they do not continue to try to teach Love.

God loves, period. And that is the truth that all Guides from the Light strive to awaken in their Learners. But remember that Guides’ effectiveness lies at the mercy of the choices our Learners make. Should you decide to take a gun tonight and go shoot your neighbor, we are not permitted to use our abilities, other than telepathic communication, to stop you. So you can choose to ignore your Guides, or you can issue an "edict" that your Guides never again try to speak to you – but you cannot fire your Guides.

However, the one Guide that people who do not believe in God do not have is a Master Teacher Guide. The work we Master Teacher Guides do is to teach to the consciousness of our Learners. There is simply no need for Master Teacher Guides to "hang out" on Guide teams where we are not being used.

So let me end with a question for you to think about, probably a familiar one that you have all heard before, but no less meaningful: If you decide tonight that you do not believe in the sun, what do you think the odds are that the sun will still be there tomorrow morning? Right. So will God. And so will the Guides assigned to you. So since you cannot get rid of them, might as well make them work for you! Use them! Keep them busy! And once in awhile, send them roses!
